Abstract Bani Walid; This is due to the influence this age group has on the future of our society given how their thinking pattern has a direct positive or negative reflect on the quality of life. Therefore, by highlighting these two concepts, the research aims to demonstrate the importance of the positive thinking pattern on the students' mental health first, and improving themselves and society comes second, and to achieve this, we used the descriptive curriculum by using the method of associative studies, and applied the two measures of quality of life by "Zainab Shuqeir" and a mindset measure by "Hanan Abdul Aziz" 2012. Both research means have been applied to a group of (100) male and female high school students selected at random, and one of the major outcomes reached was that the group was living low levels of quality of life and the dominant pattern of thinking was found to be negative. The results showed a statistically significant correlation between quality-of-life variables and the two thinking patterns. The research also provided a set of recommendations that stipulated the need for increased attention to improving students' quality of life in its social and psychosocial dimensions, it also points out the importance of encouraging families to support their children by providing them with a positive environment as well as providing training programs for students; To promote positive thinking and life skills.
