Off-Line Arabic Signature Verification Using Geometrical Features

In this paper, it has been presented an off-line signature verification scheme using the combination of geometrical and grid features. First, the geometrical features use four border points in the direction of right and left, up and down in addition to two lengths between vertical and horizontal directions. The first two points are connected between left point and the right. The second two points are connected from highest point to the lowest point. The second test uses the grid features from the core of the signature image. The sample population for this study consists of 360 personal signatures collected from 60 Arabic native speakers and all the specimen signatures are stored in Oracle database. Internet was contributed to widespread of Elearning and D-learning. However, that is associated with phone land and desktop computer. Then appeared mobile phone and that helped for mobile learning. New concepts are appeared like virtual class and virtual students. As well as using most people web services in their daily transaction like buying and selling, which contributed to the spread and availability of the internet services everywhere. The significant expansion in the use of the internet has led to the emergence of new generation of computing called cloud computing. This paper investigated proposal of developed cloud computing for university and colleges in Saudi Arabia to support E-learning and D-learning of higher education. Universities can benefit of cloud computing services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS). Cloud computing can provided to reduced cost and time maintenance. For several reasons such as internet provides, cheap cost and spread of mobile devices building cloud computing can be success.

students in college of applied sciences in Ibri. The programming courses are very important for the Information technology students in general. The sample consisted of 50 students from Ibri College. A questionnaire was developed for the purpose of this study. Content validity and reliability were ensured to be sufficient for the study. The finding of study showed that the students faced some problems during their study in the programming courses like the short time for practical, some of them as their English language is not good so it also affects their skills and knowledge in programming.
